Alan Forster is a graduate of the Fine Arts Department at Concordia University in Montreal Canada. His major was photography with a minor in painting. His painting instructors were Molinari and Tom Hopkins.
I am searching for equivalents with my paintings. When looking at my art it should evoke an equivalent emotion or feeling."Equivalence" relates to what goes on in the viewer's mind as he looks at a painting I paint different subjects from landscapes to figurative to abstract as I find this gives me the most creative freedom.
I am currently studying (workshops) with contemporary artists Elaine Despin and Robert Pietrantonio.
I am also a member of The Beaconsfield Artists Association
