The Montreal Art Centre

A visual arts centre based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is the home to resident tenant member artists working in personal studio spaces in the Centre’s historic 19th century building.

The Art Centre is situated in the revitalized Griffintown district of Montreal in the downtown core of the city.
In the summer of 2013 The Global Art League will host the works of over 300 worldwide artists in its three exhibition art galleries at the Centre.

There couldn’t be a better city to hold the International Exhibition of Emerging Artists 2013.

There are over 4,000 artists in this cosmopolitan city and the Global Art League will welcome over 300 worldwide artists at The Montreal Art Centre in July 2013.
Montréal is a multifaceted metropolis and the world’s second-largest French-speaking city after Paris. Montreal today numbers four million people of virtually every single nationality and creed on the planet.

Montréal is also a melting pot of cultures from around the world, a mosaic of neighborhoods with some of the best restaurants found anywhere. The city’s rich architectural heritage spans four centuries of history from the French Regime to the modern era. An island that’s anything but insular, Montréal is a lively town that’s always in the mood to celebrate!

So Much to See!...

In Montréal, countless festivals from the most traditional to the most daring take place throughout the year, hitting a peak in the summer. With the onset of good weather comes a host of cultural and sporting events, including the Montreal Beer Festival, The Montreal Fireworks Competition, a dazzling pyrotechnical showdown;
the Grand Prix of Canada a challenging stop on the Formula One circuit; the Montreal International Jazz Festival, which draws over a million spectators; and the equally popular Just For Laughs festival. What’s more, with movies, dancing, epicurean extravaganzas and fashion events, there’s always a reason to party in Montréal!

Montreal-Summer Festivals in 2013

Montreal Beer Festival

Montreal's Mondial de la bière rolls around the first week of June, but this event has the making of a summer herald. It’s a chance to sample hundreds of beers from around the world. One can try a chocolate beer, pair a lager with a slab of kangaroo meat or indulge in special brews made expressly for the festival.

Montreal Fireworks Competition

The largest pyrotechnics competition of its kind in the world, the Montreal International Fireworks Competition has been going strong since 1985 and remains one of this city's top attractions, showering Montreal skies every Saturday evening (Wednesday evenings too, depending on the edition) throughout the summer. The competition takes place June through July, and sometimes August.

F1 Canadian Grand Prix

Montreal goes absolutely wild  when F1 rolls into town. But it's not everyone's cup of tea. Many locals hide at home the duration of the weekend, while others dive head first into the madness. The Canadian Grand Prix takes place generally in mid-June.
