Brandy Woods is primarily an illustrator who focuses on Native American and fantasy themes, though she also enjoys painting and sculpture
I was born in Louisiana before moving to Montreal, and was raised on fantasy novels, drawing, video games, world mythology/legends, Native American cultures and shamanism. My personal artwork these days focuses on the natural world and spirituality, as I walk my own interesting path through life.
I have been blessed to have participated in several exhibits, including last year's Global Art League exposition, the YES Art Expo in May 2015, 'Inheritance' at Dawson College in April 2015, and 'Pathways', a solo exhibition at the Greenfield Park Library, in November 2015. I graduated top of my class from Illustration & Design at Dawson College, and was awarded 2 bursaries during my studies.
