International Call for Submissions
We are delighted to invite all artists to participate in the Global Art League’s International Exhibition of Emerging Artists, open to all artists 18 years of age and over.
The Global Art League in collaboration with The Montreal Art Centre will celebrate and recognize excellence in the visual arts among emerging artists from around the world, from July 20th to August 17th 2013.
This is an open call for International Artists. All artists are now welcome to send in their submissions. Final deadline for submissions is 15 June 2013.
National and International submissions are encouraged. All Global Art League members will be selected for inclusion in the exhibition. The top five artists will be chosen by a 5-judge panel of art professionals and will share prize money of $2,000. Our website provides full details regarding how you may send your artworks.
INSTRUCTIONS ON SHIPPING AND PRICING:
For Artworks sold online or through our virtual gallery, the shipping and handling is paid for by the customer with no cost to the artist.
The Global Art League will then send the artist the payment made by the customer for postage and handling for the piece.The artist then must ship the piece directly to the customer at their address which will be provided by the Global Art League. There is no need for the artist to ship the piece to Montreal, Canada. Once the artist has shipped the artwork to the purchaser and sends confirmation of shipment to Global Art League, the Global Art League will make payment to the artist for the 70% of the sale price from the artwork sold. Sales from the online and Virtual Gallery are in US dollars. Artworks sold in Montreal during the live exhibition are in Canadian dollars. For sales in the live exhibition the artist must ship the piece to Montreal at their expense. There is no cost to the artist when the artwork is sold in the live exhibition.
