Since childhood Caroline Heroux spent a lot of time playing in the grass with no shoes, climbing trees and staring at clouds

Looking back, art was always a part of my life, like drawing in the sand, making nature collages, playing in mud. As a teenager I photographed everything and graffitied most of what I owed or came into contact with. As a healthy peaceful adult, I can see the deep emotions from my past still seeping through into my art. The pressures of everyday life, the assault on nature, the sadness of humanity. I can feel my childhood bond with nature being polluted with adult greed. I can feel the rebel teenager refusing to give in to the rules of society and I can also see the enlightened part of myself flowing through this journey.

On a spiritual level, my art helps to express deep emotions and teaches me how to live in the present moment. The repeated themes of Creation, destruction and seeking to unleash an enlighten self are evident. My art often shows a lot of the healing scars you need to became strong and free.

~My art is collected and sold worldwide. My paintings have been featured in decor magazines and is suggested as art to accent a room in many architectural design blogs including one of my favourites: DECOIST- ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN.

Here is where I sell my art on ETSY :
