Sharing the creative experience through public art and encouraging young artists to see the possibilities in alternative materials has been a focus since moving to St-Lambert.
Artist statement:
I create art in many forms and enjoy sharing it without moral posturing. I create art to satisfy my need to play, and to entertain others by doing the unusual with the ordinary. I create art to make people take a second look, to feel joy and to care about the process of artistic creation.
I began to develop an interest in the relationship between the disciplines, finding every lesson learned from one adventure led to more finesse and understanding of another. My discoveries in art using various mediums eventually blend into a thorough visual exploration. Working with multiple mediums creates a collection of objects, each explored in turn by a common creator.
