Picture
I am passionate about photography, especially about the impact an image can have in the world. I began taking pictures six years ago. At the time, I never imagined how much it would affect me, and how addicted to it I would become. Without a doubt, life takes you to unexpected places.

In the winter of 2009, I was shopping for Christmas gifts for my nephews, a day at the mall just like so many others before. But then I spotted a camera that seemed to be calling out to me. I wasn’t looking for a camera. I didn’t “need” a camera. I certainly had no idea how to use a camera. But I listened to that little voice, bought the camera and brought it home. The rest, as they say, is history.

To me, photography is more than just taking pictures; photography is commitment, confrontation, contribution, fun, intrusion, curiosity, shock, peace, revolution, conspiracy, connection, mystery, silence, and creativity.
