Iryna Hrymalyuk is a Toronto based artist inspired by a philosophy of existentialism, and exploration of the purpose of human existence.
She portraits humans in hybrid and metamorphic language.
Participant of numerous exhibitions and art events such as "Degree & Profession Florence International Exchange Festival", Fondazione del Bianco Art Events, Florence, Italy 2008 - 2010; "Silver Quadrangle Biennale", Poland 2011; "Together: An exhibition on global development" Aga Khan Foundation, Canada 2016; "Anecdoche", Eleanor Winters Art Gallery York University, Toronto, Canada 2016.
STATEMENT:
My current body of works explores inner world of an individual, emotions related with diverse matters of mind, conditions impacted by fragile position in society, relationship with others and perception of the world that surrounds a person.
