Julie-Ann King

Julie always had a keen interest in art from the age of four. Give her paper, pencil and paintbrushes and away she goes. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec Canada. From coloring pictures to making projects in elementary school, Julie explored coloring her world by having her first taste of what Art is like. As preteen come around she later moved to the tropic – Barbados. During high school years she discovered and began to really develop a love for learning art. As College and University rolled around she came back to Canada to study. Like many other people in life she explored other avenues trying new challenges. However, Art never strayed away too far from her and as she quickly learned that she was destined to pursue a life long passion in Painting. Her inspiration draws from abstract to photographic styles and views of painting. Her niche is painting with acrylics specializing in expressing naturalistic landscapes featuring Barbadian and Canadian theme.
