Mary is inspired from nature and history. She spends her time in the forest near her, walking her dog; when not quilling, she plays the piano. Quilling is a lost art from the 13 th century. Mary desires to return it to its former glory and most importantly create a 3 dimensional world with quilling. Each piece is one of a kind and expresses Mary’s desire to inform and entertain. Mary especially enjoys teaching this art to others, that they may also continue to keep it alive.
