PRESS RELEASE:

The Global Art League Launches Group Show Tours for Professional & Emerging Artists

Montreal, 18 June 2013 - The Global Art League has announced that it will be offering group show tour packages allowing emerging artists to exhibit their work in multiple cities. The organisation, which has over 100 members on five continents will begin by offering two group show tours in August and September which will take place in The Montreal Art Centre in Montreal, QC and Toronto ArtScape Triangle Gallery in Toronto, ON.

By giving emerging artists the opportunity to take part in these group shows, The Global Art League is continuing in its mission to provide affordable opportunities for artists from around the world to penetrate new markets and expand the reach of their artwork. The first tours will take in Canada’s largest two cities, with plans to expand the tour in 2014 to include New York.

Allan Diamond, CEO of The Global Art League commented “Our tours mean that artists who had previously exhibited perhaps in their own city are now given the opportunity to add two prestigious locations to their CV. By grouping together highly talented emerging artists we are allowing them a lower cost method of spreading the word about their artwork.”

The tours, which will include one week of exhibition in each city, will exhibit a total of five artists, each displaying three pieces of work. The first exhibition will be opening in Montreal Art Centre on 21st August.
