Saskya Fun Sang's early works of art are guided by an interest in texture and the potential of it.

Saskya is an emerging 21 year old Ecuadorian visual artist, involved with painting since she was seven years old. Influenced by Abstraction in the first place, she was later touched by feminist artworks, which became her main influences.
The combined influence of both are clearly shown in each one of her artworks, which include oil, acrylic, water color, mixed media and installations. She lives in Guayaquil, Ecuador and is currently finishing her BFA.
"My early works of art are guided by an interest in texture and the potential of it. Everything I create is emotionally connected to my position as a women and my view toward other women lives but in an abstract way. I’m inspired by the possibility of allowing the audience to create a different version of my view based on what they see or read in my work."
