Sharon Stackpole

Sharon Lyn Stackpole is an artist who prefers to work in many mediums and often uses words in her imagery. She is also a freelance writer and former newspaper reporter. Her artwork has been shown from New York City to Pittsburgh to New Mexico and is collected internationally.
Sharon studied painting and art history at Fairmont State and West Virginia University. She feels that art is yet another form of communication, and that the artist has a role to serve in making the earth a bit more beautiful than they found it wherever they travel. To that end, she tries to use recycled and found objects in her artwork as much as possible.
Sharon is pleased to be a participating member in the Global Art League.
